I studied at the Università degli studi di Udine where I earned my Laurea Triennale in Mechanical Engineering in November 2009 and my Laurea Specialistica in Mechanical Engineering in July 2011 (cum laude). In both of my final theses I worked on Thermo-Fluid Dynamic numerical simulations under the supervision of Prof. Giulio Croce and Prof. Luiz Wrobel (Brunel University London). The research works focused on the prediction of surface shear stress and surface instabilities in single/multi-fluid domains using custom and commercial CFD algorithms.

Between August 2011 and February 2014 I worked as a Project Manager for Danieli & C. – Officine Meccaniche S.p.A., a global leader in the manufacture of steelmaking plants.

After this work period, I decided to continue my Academic Career with a DPhil, joining EPG in April 2014 as a Marie Curie Fellow part of the ADEPT project. My research focuses in numerical simulations for thermal analysis of Powertrain Electrical Machines.
