I received an MEng in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford in July 2015, and started as a DPhil candidate with Professor McCulloch and Professor Howey in October 2015.

My DPhil is looking at the design of an electricity network for the 21st century.  In particular, I am looking at how the optimal design of electricity networks change with high penetration of renewables and energy storage. I am interested in how optimal networks will change from the household level up to transmission networks, in both existing networks and in areas that do not yet have electric networks (e.g. in developing countries).
