I joined the EPG in October 2014 directly after graduating from Oxford in General Engineering, specialising in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Energy.
I am currently developing a user-friendly tool to model both the well to tank energy pathways and the tank to wheel performance of vehicles in conjunction with Jaguar Land Rover. During my DPhil I plan on using this tool to undergo an examination of the global mix of road transport today. Considering the effects of legislative change as well as vehicle usage profiles and regional variation in both, I plan on developing an understanding of the well to wheel energy usage across different vehicles types resulting in the construction of a predictive picture of transport evolution in the near future.
